This PR ensures that PHP [values which would be interpreted as booleans][1] in older versions of the YAML spec are escaped with single quotes when dumped by the Dumper.
For example, dumping this:

Will produce this YAML:

When a line contains only a dash it cannot safely be assumed that it contains a nested list or an embedded mapping. If the next line starts with a dash at the same indentation, the current line's item is to be treated as `null`.

Asterisks in unquoted strings are used in YAML to reference
variables. Before Symfony 2.3.19, Symfony 2.4.9 and Symfony 2.5.4,
unquoted asterisks in inlined YAML code were treated as regular
strings. This was fixed for the inline parser in #11677. However, an
unquoted * character now led to an error message like this:

Previously, the parser treated maps ( {} ) the same as sets ( [] ).
Both were returned as PHP associative arrays. Since
these are distinct entities, this can cause considerably problems for
the users, especially when YAML is being serialized into another
format such as JSON.
This commit allows the user to enable object-map support via a third
parameter on the Parse method. It defaults to `false`, which means
that this commit does not break backwards compatibility.
If the user enables object-map support, maps are represented
by stdClass() objects. Sets remain as arrays.
The current [YAML 1.2] specification clearly states:
> JSON's RFC4627 requires that mappings keys merely “SHOULD” be unique, while YAML insists they “MUST” be.
The outdated [YAML 1.1] spec contained a crystal clear note on how the error of duplicate keys is to be handled by parsers, which is (sadly) no longer contained in the latest 1.2 spec (only leaving the requirement):
> It is an error for two equal keys to appear in the same mapping node. In such a case the YAML processor may continue, ignoring the second `key: value` pair and issuing an appropriate warning. This strategy preserves a consistent information model for one-pass and random access applications.

YAML does not specify an absolute indentation level, but a consistent indentation of nested nodes only: http://www.yaml.org/spec/1.2/spec.html#space/indentation/
Projects that are generally using 2 spaces for indentation should be able to retain consistency with their coding standards by supplying a custom value for the new $indent parameter added to Yaml::dump(), or the new Dumper::setIndentation() method.
The new parameter is a backwards-compatible API addition and defaults to the previous default of 4 (which was changed from 2 via PR #2242 only recently).

By default, object support is disabled, and instead of throwing an
exception when an object is handled, null is returned.
If you do need object support, enable it via:

Issue #4308 is caused by Dumper::escapeWithDoubleQuotes() which uses [str_replace()](http://php.net/str_replace).
From the php docs:
> Because str_replace() replaces left to right, it might replace a previously inserted value when doing multiple replacements.
We should be very careful in deciding about the order of elements in $escapees array. I'd really appreciate if someone reviewed my fix. Tests say I didn't break anything but I'm not sure what percentage of Yaml specification is covered by tests.

Something is really wrong with this method. You can see clearly that multiple characters would fail proper escaping.
Here's an example:
```
$value = '\\\\"some value\n \"some quoted string\" and \'some single quotes one\'"';
var_dump(Escaper::escapeWithDoubleQuotes($value));
string(72) ""\\\"some value\n \\some quoted string\\ and 'some single quotes one'\"""
```
To begin with the backslash - in the initial value you have 2 (escaped ones), that after escaping should result in 4, not in 1 (escaped). I guess this behavior has to be verified with the importer, but imho it does not seem right.
Does anyone know why this escaping wasn't done using a regular expression in first place?

This PR adds consistence to components which already have their own exception interface.
DependencyInjection, Serializer and Yaml now only throw their own scoped exceptions.
For other components, it's much more work and could introduce some bugs. It would be better to do it in Symfony 2.2.
YAML does not specify an absolute indentation level, but a consistent indentation of nested nodes only: http://www.yaml.org/spec/1.2/spec.html#space/indentation/
Projects that are generally using 2 spaces for indentation should be able to retain consistency with their coding standards by supplying a custom value for the new $indent parameter added to Yaml::dump(), or the new Dumper::setIndentation() method.
The new parameter is a backwards-compatible API addition and defaults to the previous default of 4 (which was changed from 2 via PR #2242 only recently).

Issue #4308 is caused by Dumper::escapeWithDoubleQuotes() which uses [str_replace()](http://php.net/str_replace).
From the php docs:
> Because str_replace() replaces left to right, it might replace a previously inserted value when doing multiple replacements.
We should be very careful in deciding about the order of elements in $escapees array. I'd really appreciate if someone reviewed my fix. Tests say I didn't break anything but I'm not sure what percentage of Yaml specification is covered by tests.

This PR:

It's mergeable without any problems, but I would recommend to wait a fix in Composer in order to use `self.version` in `require`/`require-dev` sections.
Note: I kept `suggest` sections because it makes sense but this PR doesn't aim to provide useful explanations for each entry. It could be another PR, not that one.

@fabpot I reviewed each component, one by one. Now `phpunit` always works, even if tests are skipped. A simple `composer install --dev` allows to run the complete test suite. Each commit is well separated from the others. I guess, everything is ok now.

@fabpot: seriously .. if you are not going to deliver something "better" and don't provide a reason what is wrong with this .. then its beyond frustrating. i obviously do not claim that these README's are perfect (and certainly still no replacement for proper documentation), but I do claim that in their current form they are a radical step forward to potential users of the Symfony2 components.
This addresses an obscure case where a hash string (actually a commit-ish, "686e444") was dumped to YAML as an unquoted string value. It was later parsed from YAML as an exponential numeric and changed to ".Inf".
encoding is detected using the `mb_detect_encoding()`-function
in strict-mode. Checking is done before the parsing starts.
Without this patch, the calls to `preg_replace()` using the
'u'-modifier would cause the non-utf8-string being processed
to be empty when parsing starts which makes the parsing return
no result.
Added support for the full range of escaped values in double quoted
strings in chapter 5 of the YAML 1.1 and 1.2 specs. The escaping
and unescaping strategies were factored out into separate classes to
keep the logic isolated.
Added examples from the spec to the unit tests for all escaped values.
