2a4dc77a63 The overloaded DB_DataObject function staticGet is now called getKV 
I used this hacky sed-command (run it from your GNU Social root, or change the first grep's path to where it actually lies) to do a rough fix on all ::staticGet calls and rename them to ::getKV

   sed -i -s -e '/DataObject::staticGet/I!s/::staticGet/::getKV/Ig' $(grep -R ::staticGet `pwd`/* | grep -v -e '^extlib' | grep -v DataObject:: |grep -v "function staticGet"|cut -d: -f1 |sort |uniq)

If you're applying this, remember to change the Managed_DataObject and Memcached_DataObject function definitions of staticGet to getKV!

This might of course take some getting used to, or modification fo StatusNet plugins, but the result is that all the static calls (to staticGet) are now properly made without breaking PHP Strict Standards. Standards are there to be followed (and they caused some very bad confusion when used with get_called_class)

Reasonably any plugin or code that tests for the definition of 'GNUSOCIAL' or similar will take this change into consideration.

1f4b63d533 Add email field to Twitter registration form; needed when RequireValidatedEmail plugin is present. 
Since Twitter doesn't provide email address back to us here, we only prefill the field if we have an invite.

d0d39b51b8 Fixes for RegisterThrottle plugin: alt registration methods (OpenID, FBConnect, Twitter) weren't triggering the throttle check or recording of IPs. 
Added StartRegistrationTry/EndRegistrationTry calls into those three, and moved the actual recording hook to EndUserRegister which is guaranteed to be called from User::register (so we don't need to worry about other auth methods forgetting to call the other UI-code hooks).

4b20d68c48 i18n cleanup: fix bad string breakdown in license agreement checkbox on registration form. 
Note that much of that form is duplicated several times for Twitter, Facebook, and OpenID registrations -- these need to be refactored to avoid having multiple out-of-sync copies of code and messages.

d4f6235d7b Upgrade Twitter bridge to use OAuth 1.0a. It's more secure, and allows 
us to automatically send in a callback url instead of having to manually
configure one for each StatusNet instance.

4b5e977a7b New _m() gettext wrapper with smart detection of plugin domains. Plugin base class registers your gettext files if present at initialization. 
update_pot.sh replaced with update_po_templates.php which can do core, plugins, or all (default).
Top-level Makefile added to build .mo files for plugins as well as core.

5581143bee Rebuilt HTTPClient class as an extension of PEAR HTTP_Request2 package, adding redirect handling and convenience functions. 
Caching support will be added in future work after unit tests have been added.

* extlib: add PEAR HTTP_Request2 0.4.1 alpha
* extlib: update PEAR Net_URL2 to 0.3.0 beta for HTTP_Request2 compatibility
* moved direct usage of CURL and file_get_contents to HTTPClient class, excluding external-sourced libraries
* adapted GeonamesPlugin for new HTTPResponse interface

Note some plugins haven't been fully tested yet.
